Teens Standing For Christ in a Non-Christian Environment

Teen Night at BBC will feature a Holy Spirit filled service of testimony and music by the Berean Youth Group with special guest speaker Josh Brown from Harmony Baptist Church of Avon. Following the service there will be a time of fellowship with free pizza and a devotional given by Brad Utz.

Josh Brown Josh Brown is a student at Ivy Tech and is active in the Youth Program at the thriving Harmony Baptist Church of Avon, pastored by Dr. Jon Lilly. Josh Plays the bass guitar in the Praise Band and has a heart for Jesus and Teens.
Josh will speak in the auditorium service with an emphasis on Teens Standing for Christ in often hostile environments.

Brady Buchanan Brady Buchanan also of Harmony Baptist will share of his experience on the Indiana All Star Traveling 8th Grade Football Team. The team ended up 10th in the nation. Brady received the Team Spiritual Leader Award. He will be a Freshman next season. He is active in the youth program at his church and is always seen helping wherever needed. His coach, Ryan Thompson was very impressed with the spiritual leadership demonstrated by Brady.
Cole Utz ROTC Cole Utz is a student at South High in Terre Haute and plays on the Soccer team. He also plays bass guitar in The Berean Strings at Berean Baptist Church. Cole is sharing his testimony of a debate in school taking the Right to Life position. Cole demonstrates amazing courage in standing for the things that matter most. Cole is also learning the sound system as taught by Doug Humphrey.
Annika Sontag Annika Sontag is a student at Sarah Scott in Terre Haute and is active in many activities in Berean and in a trio with Renee and Caitlyn Utz.
Annika often helps her father, Jeff, when he is the alternate on the sound system at Berean.
Annika was baptized late last year following the Lord in believer's baptism after a time of soul searching. Annika is very active in her school and plays the Clarinet in addition to many activities at Berean.

Caitlyn UTZ Caitlyn is an eighth grader at Woodrow Wilson Middle School where she participates in choir. She is in her fourth year of piano lessons. Caitlyn admits that the first time she confessed salvation it was in order to participate in communion like her brother and sister were doing. The Lord convicted her of her need for a Savior and she accepted Christ two years ago and hopes to be Baptized soon.
Renee Utz Renee Utz is an outstanding young woman who also attends South High where she is active in several activities. Over the years Renee has been involved in numerous events at Berean and has earned a great testimony among the people here and at whatever school she is attending. For several years she was a member of the Terre Haute Youth Choir. She is currently taking Guitar lessons.
Several friends of these young servants of Christ will be present at the teen service in the main auditorium of Berean Baptist on Sunday Evening January 19th at 6:00 PM. A special PIZZA Party will follow in the Annex. (Teens Only).
People of all ages are invited to the 6:00 PM service presented by the teens under the direction of Youth Leaders Brad & Jen Utz.
